This injectable technique is performed with a calcium hydroxyapatite filler, a substance that occurs naturally in the body. For this treatment the filler is used in a dilute form. It is gently fanned underneath the skin to promote collagen growth resulting in thicker, firmer and less wrinkled skin. It is great for areas of crêpe paper-like skin such as the neck and is the gold standard treatment to firm up the skin on the back of the hands.
