Is the Deep Clean Facial painful?
Extraction can involve some pressure or mild discomfort, particularly around areas of congestion. Our therapists work carefully and precisely, adapting the treatment to your skin and tolerance.

Will my skin be red afterwards?
You may experience some temporary redness following extraction. This is normal and should settle. We finish with LED to help calm the skin and support recovery.

Can I have the treatment if I have sensitive skin?
The treatment can be adapted to your skin. Your therapist will assess your skin before beginning and adjust the products and techniques used accordingly.

Can I have the Deep Clean Facial if I have active breakouts?
It depends on the type and condition of the breakout. Your therapist will assess your skin and determine whether extraction is appropriate. Inflamed or compromised areas may be avoided.

How often should I have a Deep Clean Facial?
This depends on your skin and how congested it becomes. Your therapist can advise on the right frequency for you rather than following a one-size-fits-all schedule.

Can I wear makeup after my treatment?
We recommend allowing your skin some time to settle after extraction and avoiding makeup immediately afterwards where possible. Your therapist will advise you on post-treatment care.

What should I avoid after the treatment?
Your therapist will advise you based on your skin and the treatment performed. Generally, avoid anything that could unnecessarily irritate the skin immediately afterwards, including intense heat and aggressive exfoliation.

Is this a relaxing facial?
There are relaxing elements, particularly during the buccal and lymphatic massage, but the focus is firmly on results. The Deep Clean Facial is designed to work on the skin, with expert extraction at its centre.

Can I have the treatment if I have dermatitis or compromised skin?
Your skin will be assessed before treatment. Where there are areas of dermatitis or compromised skin, certain products or techniques may need to be avoided or adapted.

The Deep Clean Facial is particularly suited to skin experiencing congestion, blocked pores, blackheads, uneven texture or a general build-up of dead skin and impurities.

Your treatment is tailored to your skin on the day, so the exact approach, particularly around exfoliation and extraction, will be adapted by your therapist.
